Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal Website

The Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution (CJCR) features topics in alternative dispute resolution and mediation. The Journal reflects the prominence and is a key component of Cardozo's Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution, which includes Cardozo's pioneering mediation clinic, participation in intraschool and national counseling, negotiation, and mediation advocacy competitions, a student chapter of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution, and various other symposia and events.

CJCR is published approximately twice a year and aims to explore all aspects of this burgeoning field of law and its relationship to legal practice, scholarship, and jurisprudence.

In 2000, CJCR, in conjunction with the Cardozo International Law Students Association, founded the annual International Advocate for Peace (IAP) Award. This award honors individuals who embody Justice Benjamin N. Cardozo's passion through their work in international conflict resolution. Previous recipients have included President William Jefferson Clinton, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, and Senator George Mitchell.
